Campus Pastor
Mount Olive College at Mount Olive has initiated a search for a Campus Pastor. The Campus Pastor is responsible for serving as the liaison for the College to the churches of the Original Free Will Baptist Convention and with other churches in the Mount Olive and surrounding communities. The Campus Pastor will develop and implement weekly chapel services, extend pastoral care, and attend to personal crisis situations in the lives of students, staff and faculty. The Campus Pastor also has part-time teaching responsibilities in the Department of Religion. This position is a full-time, 12 month administrative assignment.
Qualifications include: Must be an ordained minister in good standing in a denomination of Christian faith, preferably in the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists. Must be able to manage complex issues creatively and effectively and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have strong initiative and self-motivation and be able to work independently or as part of a group. A Master’s of Divinity degree or equivalent required; terminal degree is preferred.

Administrative Assistant
Mount Olive College at Mount Olive seeks a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative assistance and support to the Office of the Dean of the Tillman School of Business in problem solving, project planning and management, and time-management. Organizes meetings, workshops, seminars, conferences, and other special events, as required. Must have excellent customer service skills and be highly organized. The ability to multi-task and be a team player is paramount. Requires minimal direction and takes guided initiative. Must be reliable, tactful and discrete. Ability to gather data and prepare reports. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite a must. Responsibilities include: phone, mail, filing, generating financial reports and receiving visitors. Desirable traits include: strong interpersonal, communication skills, Spanish language facility, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies within a diverse community.
Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree preferred with formal administrative/secretarial training or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus. Admissions Representative
Mount Olive College at Wilmington seeks a full-time Admissions Representative. Duties include recruiting prospective students through appointments, college events, individual and group information meetings with businesses, medical facilities, professional organizations, childcare centers, etc. Some instate travel and limited use of personal vehicle will be required.
Qualifications include: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. This position requires excellent communication and computer skills and the ability to work independently as well as with a team. Financial Aid Counselor
Financial aid counselor position available at our New Bern location. This position reports to the director of financial aid. Financial aid counselors are members of the enrollment team and must be able to work with admissions representatives, business office personnel and the registrar's office in order to maximize enrollment. This position will also have responsibilities in our Jacksonville location in addition to the New Bern location.
Financial aid counselors must be knowledgeable of federal, state and institutional aid regulations and apply them to each individual student's eligibility. These employees assist current and prospective students with filing their free application for federal student aid (FAFSA) and completion of loan applications, complete verification audits, and meet often with students to help them with other financial concerns. Some college credit is mandatory, an Associate Degree is preferred. Mount Olive College offers a competitive benefit package. Men's Residence Life Coordinator
Mount Olive College seeks a Men’s Residence Life Coordinator to provide Administration and supervision of assigned residence facility & staff. Areas of responsibility include judicial, counseling, emergency response and crisis intervention, programming, training, and on-call duties.
Although a masters is preferred, the successful candidate must have a bacehlor's degree in Student Development/Higher Education or a related field. Previous residence life experience is required.
The position is 11 month, live-in and includes furnished apartment and meal plan. UTILITY MAINTENANCE/SPECIAL EVENTS SPECIALIST
Mount Olive College is searching for a Utility Maintenance/Special Events Specialist. Individual will be responsible for the set up, operation and troubleshooting of all PA systems and Audio Visual equipment. Must have the ability lift at least 50lbs. Must be detailed oriented. Individual must have neat appearance and excellent people skills. Must be willing to work flexible hours to include weekends. Bus Driver
Mount Olive College is searching for a part-time bus driver to drive athletic teams and singing groups in a 29-passenger bus. Must have flexible schedule since travel may be overnight and on any day of the week. Human Resources Assistant
The human resources office at Mount Olive College has an immediate opening for a part-time HR Assistant. The HR Assistant will have the following responsibilities:
Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to administrative and personal communications, confidential and/or sensitive issues, and employee records.
Enter new hire information into the HRIS Ceridian system.
Run reports as required utilizing the Report Generator function of our HRIS system.
Master (know, understand, explain, enroll) college benefit package.
Manage filing, photocopying, typing, and other clerical functions.
Manages receipt of all mail and distributes to office personnel.
Prepare labels/mailings; collate materials; file documents.
Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
Qualifications include:
· Be proficient with regard to the technology required by the position, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, databases, etc.
· Must be congenial, possess strong interpersonal skills, and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies within a diverse community.
